ON HIS JOURNEY AS A MODEL…

Fill us in on your modeling journey. How did you get discovered and was modelling always something you’ve dreamt of?
Almost a year ago, when I, with my friends moved from Quetta to Karachi, we had a friend there who owned an office. I would always dress in formal attire and would be mistaken as Hasnain Lehri and my friends would joke by telling those around them that I was indeed a model. In that moment the idea of working as a model clicked me. So, the start of this journey was influenced by the motivation of people around me.

If you were not a model, what would you be?
If I were not a model, I would be a contractor, as we own a construction business.

Your guilty pleasure?
When I’m all alone in my room, and in the mood, I dance, and that’s a bit strange, I find it weird, and I’m afraid of anyone watching me in that moment.

If you could describe yourself through a song, which one would it be?
‘Laga Reh’ by Talha Anjum – I feel like it describes my story.

How would you describe your fashion style?
Linen outfits: pants and shirts, with dress shoes are my favourite due to their comfy texture and sweet style. I like to keep my hair long, as a ponytail, as it makes me feel bold. Dark shades, a big moustache and beard are best for a sassy look.

Three most appealing qualities in a woman?
Women are all respectable, but one with modesty, honesty and a kind heart is more appealing.

What is your biggest fear?
Fear of getting drowned. Whenever I swim, I’m always afraid that I might get drowned, but luckily, I always make it to the coast.

What was the best piece of advice you’ve gotten and from whom?
Tabesh Khoja once advised me to always stay up-to-date with fashion trends, so now I keep myself updated with the latest fashion trends around the globe.

What are you currently binge watching?
‘Peaky Blinders’.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself as an international supermodel in the coming five years. I’m being optimistic, and I do believe that I’ll get to it.
