The actor has recently become furious over an injustice that has been done to him. Sarmad Khoosat was slated to receive the presidential prize this year for his lengthy career in cinema and drama, but his name was deleted from the list of forthcoming achievers.
Sarmad shared it on Instagram, writing, “SITARA-I-IMTIAZ RANDOM FUN FACT | NEWS.” UPDATE: 4. My name has been removed from ‘the 14th August ’23 list’ of Presidential Awards, which everyone ‘officially’ and informally congratulated me on. Sorry, please return your Mubaraks. Bhaee, yeh mai nay khud tou nahii bana li this list. And, as far as I recall (from the year I received the PP), the list released on August 14th is the finalized list, unless the winner declines to accept the honor.”
