Jennifer Lopez went pantsless at the Coach spring 2024 ready-to-wear show at New York Fashion Week on September 7. The actor and singer has been the brand’s global ambassador since 2019, and she certainly looked the part, seated front row between Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and British Vogue editor in chief Edward Enninful.
With the help of stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lopez selected an oversized suede jacket with fringe sleeves for the occasion. She accessorized the look with knee-high snakeskin boots, a silver Coach bag, white Fendi sunglasses, and silver Tabayer earrings. Her hair was pulled into an undone bun courtesy of hairstylist Irinel de León, and for makeup she stuck to her signature glam: a brown smoky eye and nude lip. For an unexpected pop of color, manicurist Tom Bachik painted her nails a glossy shade of lilac.
On Instagram, Jennifer Lopez shared a clip from the event in which she can be seen laughing with Wintour while a voiceover from the movie Devil Wears Prada plays in the background. “Meta moment… lol… COACH NYFW @StuartVevers @voguemagazine #AnnaWintour,” Lopez captioned the cheeky post.
However, a pantsless J.Lo moment was hardly the most dramatic event of the evening. Demonstrators from PETA stormed the catwalk midpresentation, carrying signs that read “Coach: Leather Kills.”
Never a dull moment at NYFW.
