NOIDA: Days after a video of Sachin Meena and Seema Haider’s neighbor, Mithlesh Bhati, calling him ‘lappu’ and ‘jhingur’ went viral, their advocate AP Singh has warned of legal action against the woman.

Singh said that Mithlesh has maligned the image of his client. “We are planning to take action in this regard,” he said. However, the lawyer did not specify if a defamation case or notice will be filed against her.
“Sachin..kya hai Sachin mein? Lappu sa Sachin ha, muh se bolna awe na ha…bolta wo ha na, jhingur sa ladka..us se pyar kregi wo,” Mithlesh had said in a video.

Sachin and Seema had fallen in love while playing PUBG during lockdown. A resident of Khairpur district of Sindh province in Pakistan, Seema traveled to Nepal and then India on May 13, 2023. The couple stayed in Rabupura for a few days and then fled to Ballabhgarh where they were arrested on July 4, and were released on July 7 on bail.
The case was registered against Seema, Sachin and one Netrapal under Section 14 of Foreigners Act and Section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC. There are also allegations of Seema being a spy and UP ATS also joined the investigation and questioned the couple on July 18.
Fearing deportation, Seema has also filed a mercy petition before the President of India, requesting her to grant Indian citizenship.
Seema Haider and Sachin Meena along with their family members also celebrated India’s Independence Day on Tuesday. In a video, they were seen raising patriotic slogans at their Rabupura residence.
Seema said that she wanted to visit Red Fort on Independence Day but due to an ongoing investigation, she could not attend the programme.
