Shilpa Shetty is quite active on social media and netizens love her for giving them a glimpse into her life. Her Sunday binge videos are awaited on social media! But at times, Shilpa also does face trolling! For instance, today, on Independence day, the actress shared a video of the flag hoisting at her house. One could see her hoisting the tricolour with her mother Sunanda Shetty, husband Raj Kundra and children.
The actress posted this and wrote, “वन्दे मातरम् 🫡🇮🇳🥹” But as soon as she dropped this video, netizens criticised her and the family for wearing footwear.
Another one said, “Mam chappal pehene k kon jhanda fehrata h pls aage se Aisa na kare 🙏”
Shilpa has responded to this criticism. She commented on her post and said, “I am aware of the “Rules” of conduct while hoisting the flag ,the RESPECT for my country and THE FLAG stems from my heart and not up for questioning . I am a proud Indian . Today’s post was to share and celebrate that emotion. To all the trollers( that I ignore usually )DO NOT appreciate YOU airing your ignorance and spreading negativity on this Day . So get your facts rights and please BACK OFF 🙏”
The actress had also shared a selfie with the tricolour.
