The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 4.06 points, or 0.04%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 10,260 points compared to Thursday’s closing.
The QSE general index was supported by a rise in two sectors: Industrials by 0.29%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.08%. In contrast, the index saw a decline in Telecoms by 0.05%; Transportations by 0.22%; Real Estate by 0.24%; Insurance by 0.32%; and Consumer Goods and Services sectors by 0.75%.
At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 1522 transactions worth QR 42.637 million, distributed among 17.116 million shares.
