Turkish diamond jewellery brand Zen Diamond plans to launch in the Indian market to tap into the country’s expanding jewellery industry. The business plans to pursue an omni-channel retail expansion strategy in India to reach shoppers across the country.

“Given India’s anticipated status as the fastest growing market for diamond jewellery over the next few decades, Zen Diamond aims to capitalise on this opportunity by becoming the preferred diamond jewellery brand for Indians,” said Zen Diamond Group’s chairman Emil Guzelis, ET Online reported. 
 
The business plans to set up an e-commerce presence in India and open brick-and-mortar stores in some of the country’s largest cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Zen Diamond Group has partnered with diamond industry expert and De Beers Group advisor Neil Sonawala for its India entry to gain insights into India’s jewellery sector and connect with local shoppers. 

“For the growing number of online buyers who are tech-savvy and globally well-travelled, Zen Diamond aims to offer affordable access to international jewellery trends, redefining the Indian diamonds jewellery experience through unparalleled customer service and in-store experiences,” said Sonawala. 
 
Zen Diamonds retails internationally and counts almost 400 stores across the globe. Guzelis launched the brand in the year 2000. The brand runs a number of Facebook accounts dedicated to countries it retails in including the US and Bulgaria.
