Maulana Fazlur Rahman elected JUI-F Ameer next five years

PESHAWAR: The Central Council of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has unanimously elected Maulana Fazlur Rahman as the party Ameer (chief) for the next five years.

Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari was selected as the general secretary of the party and the general council members from all over the country participated in the meeting.

The leaders and administrators of the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir presented the executive report in the General Council.

In the meeting, the current political situation, general elections, ongoing campaign in favor of the oppressed people of Palestine were reviewed

Expressing satisfaction over reports of provincial parties, instructing provincial chapters to start election preparations.
