IT’S JOE WHO IS OUT OF CONTROL

Re: They actually like Trump? Letter, Sept. 5

Full disclosure: I support RFK Jr. Does the writer of the above letter realize that, under Joe Biden as U.S. president, the world has never been closer to all-out nuclear conflict? The current proxy war with Russia, using the poor Ukrainians as expendable pawns, is absolutely reckless.

Speaking of stability, crime is out of control in the big Democrat-run cities, the southern border is a welcome mat for everyone and the economy is in the toilet. Well, if that is what the letter writer calls peace, stability, democracy and freedom, they can have at it.

CANADA WILL GO ON

This is a brief summary of a column written by Dave Makichuk in the Western Standard this week: What is Canada? Canada is the people around us. Our support group. The people who love us and care about us. Who stand by us. Who stick up for us. People who live normal lives. People who pay taxes, people who obey the law. Real people like you and me. Never in the history of Canada have we, as a country, had such an incompetent group of fools running the show.

Quote of John Diefenbaker: “I am Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think is right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, free to choose those who shall govern our country.”

The regime of Justin Trudeau & Co. will fall, my friends, and Canada will go on.

This column brought me to tears and acts as a beacon of hope that Canada will survive and be stronger than before and, eventually, prosper again.

FIDDLE LESSONS, ANYONE?

My wife thinks that I am becoming cynical, more negative and a bit nuts. To prove my point that she is exaggerating, I told her about my clever business idea of opening up a chain of clinics instructing anyone willing to learn how to play the fiddle. I further clarified that this would enable all successful students to fiddle while the planet burned, instead of doing nothing.

Instead of leaving her speechless, she responded that I just proved her point.

XAVIER’S BIG ADVENTURE

While most 15-year-olds headed back to class this week, Xavier Trudeau was off on an amazing Asian adventure with his dad. Sure, it will obviously be an experience that broadens his horizons, but is it possible that he starts to question his father’s motives as he finds himself suddenly thrust into the public eye and forced to ride shotgun?
