Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter Max Strus conjured some Reggie Miller magic on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old shooting guard buried five three-pointers, including a buzzer-beating 59-footer, in the final three minutes 42 seconds of regulation against the Dallas Mavericks to seal a 121-119 victory for Cleveland.

Strus, a 6-foot-5 DePaul University product in his fifth NBA season, helped the Cavs come back from 10 down at one point after he checked in with 5:06 left in the fourth quarter, burying his first three just over a minute later to get him to nine points on the evening.

Less than four minutes later, he was up to 21 points on the game after lobbing the winner from just past half-court.

It wasn’t quite as stunning as Miller’s eight-points-in-nine-seconds barrage against the New York Knicks on May 7, 1995, but Strus’ performance was nonetheless impressive.

In that game almost 29 years ago, the Hall of Famer hit back-to-back threes with a steal sandwiched in between before nailing a pair of free throws as Indiana won Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal against the Knicks, 107-105.
