The Saudi Games 2023 Organizing Committee is delighted to reveal an exciting expansion within the tournament – the introduction of the Saudi Youth Games 2023, designed exclusively for participants under the age of 18. Set to take place from November 26 to December 10, 2023, this youthful addition promises a manny different exhilirating sporting events, marking an important moment for the nation’s young and newfound talents.


The Saudi Youth Games 2023 will include twelve main sports, each tailored to engage and showcase the remarkable abilities of young athletes. This inclusive line-up consists of men’s 3×3 basketball, men’s and women’s table tennis, men’s gymnastics, and both men’s and women’s judo across multiple weight categories. Moreover, the men’s weightlifting segment will feature specific weight classes, offering a dynamic platform for emerging talents to compete and excel.

Among the featured events, track and field will present  contests like the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles for men, accompanied by the 100-meter hurdles for women. The sporting spectrum also includes boxing, fencing, karate (specifically, Kumite divisions for men and women), taekwondo across various weight classes for men, and swimming events encompassing men’s and women’s categories in various styles – freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly.

The Games not only include the various competitions, but also have many rewards awaiting the winners.  Gold medalists will be presented with a prestigious prize of 100,000 Saudi Riyals, while silver medalists will receive 50,000 Saudi Riyals and bronze medalists a well-deserved 25,000 Saudi Riyals. These substantial rewards aim to not only recognize exceptional athletic abilities, but also provide substantial financial backing to nurture and support the promising careers of the top-performing athletes.
