Turkiye’s CPI for August 2023 rose sharply, increasing 9.09 per cent month-on-month and 58.94 per cent year-on-year.
Transportation costs recorded the highest monthly increase at 16.61 per cent, while clothing and footwear saw a relatively lower annual rise of 31.10 per cent.
Another CPI indicator, coverage, increased 63.52 per cent annually.
