The biggest names in British television were out in force on Monday night for the TV Choice Awards at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Hosted by comedian Tom Allen, the ceremony will celebrate the best performances from the last year. EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Doctors will compete for the Best Soap gong, while This Morning, Steph’s Packed Lunch, Loose Women and Animal Park will go head to head for the Best Daytime Show Award.

There will also be awards for the greatest acting performances, with Happy Valley’s Sarah Lancashire and James Norton both up for Best Actress and Actor awards respectively.
