Women’s ethnic wear brand Soch plans to double its number of store openings this year after opening at 18 new locations last year. The brand also recently opened a renovated outlet in Bengaluru and is working on enhancing its e-commerce capabilities.
Soch has renovated a number of its stores to enhance the consumer experience. The brand recently unveiled its new concept in Bengaluru’s Jayanagar for a multi-storey, tech-enabled shopping experience.
“Your stroll in Jayanagar just got a lot more exciting,” announced the brand on Facebook. “Spot your Soch in the heart of Bangalore at our newly renovated store. Step into the vibrant world of ethnic fashion– it’s time for a fresh, fashionable experience. Visit now!”
Planning to expand with an omni-channel strategy, Soch is also adding new features to its direct to customer e-commerce store such as linking it with its brick-and-mortar outlets through ‘Digital Tabs’, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The brand expects its online arm to increase from an 11% contribution to a 20% contribution of its revenue by 2026.
The brand recently launched its metallic ‘Baroque’ collection featuring shimmering sarees with jewel tones blouses, Soch announced on Facebook. The festive line mixes simple silhouettes with striking textiles and is designed to appeal to a wide range of ages.
The brand reported a 60% year-on-year increase in revenue during the 2023 financial year, FashionNetwork.com reported back in September. Soch announced in a statement at the time that it aims to reach the Rs 1,000 crore revenue mark within the coming three to four years.
